Started out got a soft alarm 2 beep every min.
So I purchased Vesselview Mobil after final finding the well hidden connector and purchasing a yellow terminator plug got the vesselview reporting to my blue tooth app on my phone.
Looking at the fault codes #431-25 oil the imput sensor is below the valid limit. Looking at the oil pressure in vessel view it stayed at 50.5 no change with rpms. The anolog gauge at the helm reading 40 plus with rpm change.
Now I feel the alarm is from a bad sensor. Order this unit on Amozon "Engine Water Pressure Sensor 881879T11 8M6000626 for Mercury" showing two part numbers the T11 is the one for my boat but I figure since it shows the two part numbers they must both be the same. So I order the 626 @25.00 and install it, T11 by itself @ 150.00. First just unpluging the old sensor and pluging new one in, no alarm but 95 psi showing in vessel view.Turn on boat great no more soft alarm. Start boat up look at oil pressure in vessel view 95psi and no change with rpm change. Only though is I did not let boat warm up to temp. Vessel view still shows 95 psi with boat not running.
My thoughts two oil sensors, single pin operrates anolog gauge at helm, second three pin plug connects to ecm and generates alarms and oil pressure to vessel view.
With no alarm leave it alone and rely on the anolog gauge. Or will I never see a alarm again if there is aproblem.
Any help where to go next?
Thanks Joe

Interesting, a Regal wit ha Merc! Dont just rely on mechanical/non electronic gauging. Get correct part (if the one you bought from amazon doesnt work, send it back) and replace and if it still doesn't work have a certified Merc mechanic diagnosis and fix. Too often folks are trying to save a few bucks and end up getting a mechanic to diagnose and repair, then after that you will have some experience next time .

More issues so leave my slip no alarms running fine stop to get fuel after running up on plane maybe 3 or 4 miles. Stop for fuel after fueling start engine oh no alarm is back. Vessel view back to reading oil pressure 50psi. So take it out for a spin with anoying alarm every min or so. Up on plane no problem anothe 3 or 4 miles and it goes into stead beep and into guardian mode error code over speed had to idel all the way home. Shut done the engine a few times and it would go to over speed at 1200 rpms.
Checked wiring thinking some bad wires maybe, found a couple looks like they had been against the exhaust and melted a bit cover them up thinking maybe this is the problem. Took her out again no alarms ran great again stopped for fuel and again alarm is back headed out this time guardian mode low oil pressure and over speed. Could the heat be making the ecm go sporadic. Seem like it is fine on a cold engine.
Next maybe mechanic with full mercury computor interface.
Any thoughts Thanks Joe

Your engine is known to have the IAC valve go bad. It will set off the alarm. I would look there as an option, they are very easy to replace.
