I haven't had a chance to get to the boat to look, but I'm guessing my 35 SC has a 2 bank charger. In either case, I would like to add an additional battery and buy a charger with an additional charging bank. Is there any concern with generator/breaker/wiring operation by adding an additional battery/charging bank on charger?

If you are looking to add additional house battery capacity I would strongly recommend changing the house batteries to LiFePO batteries. While they are more expensive, it is well worth the price. The batteries are much lighter, will last much longer and they can be discharged their full capacity unlike lead acid or AGM batteries that can only be discharged to 50%. Your 35 has the same charger as my 33 express and it handles the LiFePO house batteries just fine.

I installed a 200 AH liFePO4 battery to replace the Group AGM and yes the existing Charles 30 AMP X3 did charge it but only to about 95% capacity. So, bought and installed a 20 amp Li specific charger directly to battery and now will bring up to 100% SOC and then revert to float no problems. Yes, th Charles charger set to AGM is still in circuit but they both seem to get along fine ! Regarding pricing a new AGM about $650 at NAPA and I am seeing some 200 AH LiFePO4's on amazon for almost the same price

It has a lot of different settings. I just want to make sure I get it set up correctly if I use the lifePO batteries. Also, which lifePO batteries would I use?

You have the same charger I have, yes it works great. There is a LiFePO setting on your charger, though I found the AGM setting works the best. I have 2 100 amp Battleborn house batteries.

Hi all! 2017 Regal 35 Sport Coupe here. My house battery seems to be dying abnormally (just replaced it) and I noticed that my battery charger is reading "polarity reversed" unless I have the engines on. So while I'm on shore power or genny not getting any charge. I'm not sure where to go here...I know the boat has some sophisticated battery pooling/charging that may result in DC reverse polarity (when one battery is dead and another is drawn on to charge it) but I'm not sure where to start. Ideas?
I have the ProNautic 12-40P. Another strange thing only the port side engine seems to generate DC power...
