Does anyone know the size of the rails? Looking to buy some rail mount clips for fender adjustment.
Thank you

I'll measure next time I go to the boat but they appear to be kind of standard. Are you looking for diameter?

The top railing is approx 1 1/4 " diameter. The support railings are about 1" in diameter. Hope that helps.

There aren't many posts for the 36XO so I will ask another question here.
I received my 2022 36 XO Twin Yamaha 425 XTO and had a chance to take it around for short and longer trips offshore. We love the boat and especially that windshield walk-through. It is priceless for the complete use of the surface area of the boat. Everything is well laid out and plenty of space. The engines are superb, responsive and quiet, especially when you close the salon sliding doors (they need adjustments so that they don't slide open or close in rough waters).
I do realize that coming from a 35SC 2014, the handling will be different and it was. I was surprised to find a bow thruster on top of the joystick but I do need it most of the time when docking or rafting because I think the weight of those outboards are pushed to the back so control of the bow with the joystick alone is less than with inboards. And I always use level 5 with the joystick. The other great thing with this setup is the position hold while waiting to dock, waiting at the fuel dock or simply adjusting the fenders while waiting to dock or raft-up.
My question is about the "balance" of that boat. I hardly used the trim tabs on my 35SC but I constantly find that the weight of this boat is always more on the starboard side. So, I always have the trim tabs down on that side to bring the port bow down. Is that an adjustment thing that is needed or is it a small design flaw you think? And it has nothing to do with the weight of the passengers or the captain :-)

Hello ayyywa,
A few quick comments. I find the bow thruster is very helpful with this boat. Regarding trimm tabs I hardly ever use them because they just seem like they introduce sooooo much drag on the boat. But there are certain things that cause the boat to become a little unbalanced. A full waste tank adds 29 gallons on the starboard. A lot of heavy liquid in the refrigerators could weigh down the starboard. The two A/C units are permanently mounted on the starboard under the counter area which are heavy.
What is your top speed. Mine used to be 50 mph but now has slowed to about 47 mph. I don't know if it's we keep adding stuff to the boat and it just gets heavier.

Thank you.
Still getting used to the balance so my top speed is about 40. Taking it easy the first season. The trim assist is not set yet just to get the engine running smooth as i was told by the dealer.
Understand the weight distribution with the A/C and waste etc.. and i agree about not using tabs when possible. Just a bit different from the 35SC. But no regrets on that great boat.
Thank you again.

Just had help with the dealer setting up trim assist. It wasn’t working for me because you have to enter five values for it to allow you to engage it even if first few are zero. Next time I’m on the boat I’ll send a picture of my settings. The dealer used static RPM. I think I would prefer to use GPS speed.
