I bought this boat used 1 year old with 16 hours. I love it! Nantucket Sound out of the Bass River My boat did not come equipped with a Spotlight. I notice typically the factory mounting position is at the bow just to the side of the Anchor. Question # 1 Did Regal pre-wire between the Bow and the Dashboard that could be tapped into for the controller and the light itself in case I install at the manufacturers default location? Or question #2 Can I install, the light on the Power Tower ( My preferred Option) and run the spotlight wire harness to the Dashboard by somehow using the starboard side solely. The reason I ask about the starboard side is because the factory lighting wiring that routs to the top of the arch for the mooring light and the inside cockpit lights routs through the Port side. And I have no idea how to go from the arch Port side through and into the Battery/Switches area, and then over or under the sliding cabin door and on to the Dashboard. If I had a proper wiring diagram, I could probably figure this out. Hint Hint. I have been able to snake this far. - Downwards from the top of the Tower and through the Power towers' Hinge and into the starboard Sidewall of the boat.
- From the Dash through and past the Drivers seat.
- There seems to be a solid obstacle that will not let the above 2 connect to each other directly
So, here's is the rub; I can't find a chase (continuous opening) from just below the hinge through to the dashboard. Like there is a blocker wall in between. Do I need to (can I) go into and out of the engine compartment to make this work? Any help or ideas would be most appreciated.

P.S. I am not a Rookie, so please don't suggest a Hand held Spotlight. I already have one.

I won't suggest it, BUT.....,.handhelds are far superior to fixed mounts in that you can instantly aim and adjust, even in rough seas. Just try looking at an object at night to see if you need to divert or just plow on!

I doubt it's pre wired. If you install a fixed mounted light put it out on the bow, the reason is with the light above you head or behind you you will end up not being able to see as well(night blind)

I recommend that you ask Regal about the best way to do this.
Also, wondering if anyone has installed a radome atop their PowerTower on a 28 Express - maybe experience with mounting and routing that could help.
