2020 Regal 35 Sport Coupe 350's while using boat yesterday, the starboard outdrive does not engage. Does anyone know if the outdrive has an automatic disengaging system or coupling that breaks away if prop is in danger (hitting bottom, entanglement). We were able to do an underwater investigation and there is nothing blocking or wrapped around the props.

what type of drives do you have? How many hours on drives. When was last service on drive oil? If it is a bravo or volvo drive it could be a bad clone clutch. Will it slame into gear if given a bit of throttle? Will it go into reverse?
