I've got a 2010 2860 Window Express that has hockey puck sized chrome lights in the cabin. How do you remove them to replace the light bulbs with much cooler and battery-efficient LEDs?
I've tried all the gentle approaches and they do not budge.

Have you tried turning the whole lens/chrome assembly counter clock wise - same idea as a home ceiling smoke detector? RV similar lights work that way....

I tried a strap wrench. It broke the strap. These suckers do not come off. Any other ideas before I cut one out?

Are you sure you’re only trying to get the outside edge of the puck and not the whole thing? The detachable lens part is just over 1/4” thick or so.
Some of mine are stuck too. I’m looking to find replacements before I get real aggressive.

Got the lens part off using a tiny jeweler's screwdriver and a plastic pry tool (used on cell phone repair). I replaced the stock Halogen/Xenon bulbs with these:
RAYHOO 10pcs G4 LED Bulbs JC Bi-Pin Base Lights 1.5W AC/DC 12V 10W-20W T3 Halogen Bulb Replacement Landscape Bulbs (Warm White 3000K)
They put out the same light with no heat and one 7th the power.

Did you use the pry tool to get the outer ring off? Did it bend the outer ring? I have the same problem as you and I didn't quite understand how you used the screwdriver and pry tool.
Thanks!

With the help of the photos from kboxx, I was able to disassemble and replace all the incandescent bulbs with LED lights.
