We took our Regal 4460 for a trip this weekend. Whe. We were entering the locks after running at 3500 rpm for 4 hours, we slowed to idle. The port engine twice increased its rpm from 900 to 1400 for about 2 seconds before returning to idle. Any thoughts on what may cause this?

2007 Regal Commodore 4460 W/ 8.1HO Mercruiser, gas V-drive. Guntersville Alabama
