Hi ,im looking to buy a 03-3860 with merc 8.1HO , 420HP motors . I would like to know the boats running attitude , Does it come on plane well , do you loose sight, do you use the trim tabs a lot? Is it bow high once on plane ,

I have a 2006 3860 and like many boats, when pushing the boat up onto plane, the visibility is not great with the bow attitude high.
But once I get up on a plane, i have no difficulty seeing over the bow, even when sitting.
But I do use the trim tabs to bring the bow down, otherwise the bow is too high to see over it comfortably.
Using the trim tabs to bring the bow down, also gives me a better GPM.
I prefer to stand when running the boat so it gives me even better visibility over the bow.
