I have a 2006 Regal 2200 BR with a flaky fuel gauge. Does anyone know where the fuel tank is actually located. I need to check the wiring.

Ok I found that the tank and fittings are under the seat just forward of the engine compartment. The problem now is getting the seat out. I took the seat cushion off and the screws than keep the inside of the storage portion in place. Was able to lift up the back portion of it about a 1/2 inch but no more. Tried prying on the front with various tools but the front will not budge. If I can get it out not only does it give access to the fuel tank but also gives easy access to the front of the engine.
I have replied to the company asking for additional help.

I finally got the compartment out of the boat. A previous owner had sprayed foam insulation on the sides and bottom of the compartment preventing it from coming out. sprayed some Marine Grade de-bond around the sides under the lip as best I could, waited overnight and and was able to rise it a good inch. jammed so screwdriver handles around under the side and front lip and heaved on the back and it slowly came out.
Issue solved
