Looking to purchase a Regal 29 OBX and want feedback on preference for either the hard top or canvas bimini. Can see pros and cons to both so interested in what Regal owners really think. Thanks!

Spending a lot of nights on the boat? Hard top. Want to have sun and wind in your hair? Bimini.

I've never heard the sentence "I wish I didn't get the hard top". I'm not saying no one said it. I just haven't heard it.

My two cents. Get the hard top. Now I did that with my 33 OBX but I did delete the canvass sunroof option. As we took a test ride on an OBX that had that option and it was a bit noisy running at speed and it collected a lot of water and when the boat was turned that water fell out of the hard top on the people sitting on the seats. You really don't need that sunroof there is a lot of wind and air that comes through the boat over the windshield and under the hard top. That's my opinion obviously others may feel differently

We have a 3860 with a Hard Top. We L-O-V-E the hard top.
Would be hard pressed to have another boat without a hard top.
If you have a choice... go for the hard top.
