I am investigating how water is getting into our floor locker in the main salon. It appears that the forward bilge pump is at a higher elevation than the area under this storage locker. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes I have. Had water in mine earlier this season. I opened up the small hole behind the sump box under the cabin steps (made the hole bigger) and vacuumed it out. Have not had the issue since.

Did you identify the source of the water at the sump pump? On my boat the the floor locker has NO apparent connection or passage to the sump cavity.

My 33 express and the 32 express are identical boats. There is a small hole in the floor directly behind the sump. It is a round hole that is approximately 1.25” in diameter. Shine a light or just stick your finger in the hole and see if you feel or see water. You have to get that water out of there. The only way I could get it out was to make that small round hole bigger so I could get a vacuum in there to suck it out. I am not sure how the water go in there, I suspect it has accumulated over years and finally got to a level that became noticeable.
