I just did this repair on my 2017 28 Express. The head door’s 2 upper hinges were barely attached to the surround trim. The attached pictures tell the repair story. A fairly easy job - taking the door’s metal trim home to my shop just worked out better now that cold weather has set in but could have been done at the marina.
Hopefully this helps other owners with this issue? Somewhat annoying that Regal did the original install the way they did!
